Biography

 

Cynthia EID is the Vice President of the International Federation of French Teachers (FIPF) and is an appointed Knight in the Order of Academic Palms. 

 

She is currently Dean of the School of Pedagogy and National Director of Innovation within the IGS Group in France. Cynthia EID is also a Professor of Didactics and is passionate about teaching. She has been a Professor in Canada (University of Ottawa and University of Montreal), the United States, France, and in the Middle East.

She has also held administrative positions such as Director of the French School at Middlebury, Oakland, California, USA, Educational Advisor to the Vice-Rectorate of Studies, Educational Support Services, University of Montreal, Canada, and Vice-President for International Relationships in Lebanon.

 

She is a Ph.D. holder in both Information and Communication Sciences (SIC), Intercultural and Foreign Languages from Lille Nord University of France, as well as in Public International Law and Political Sciences from René Descartes University, Paris V, Sorbonne, France.

 

She is the author of several books and articles in Pedagogy and Law.
